Around 500 members of Hungary’s Scientology community came together to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Budapest Ideal Organization on Váci Road.
Inaugurated ten years ago, the six-storey religious centre has become a centre for worship, education and community activities. The anniversary featured a religious service, musical performances, a photographic eu newsletter and video retrospective and a review of past achievements and future activities.
During the past decade, the Budapest church has also hosted drug-prevention conferences, human-rights events, humanitarian meetings and interfaith dialogue. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
